Prior to joining SIP Law Firm, Darma Kusuma began his career as a Legal Assistant in legal clinics, delivering essential legal support to the community. He subsequently moved into public relations, joining a leading media organisation where he specialised in press release drafting and strategic publication planning. At SIP Law Firm, Darma contributes to both marketing and legal operations. As Marketing Coordinator, he leads strategic initiatives to promote the Firm's services, drive client acquisition, and cultivate relationships across a diverse range of sectors, including tourism, technology, state-owned enterprises, and multinational corporations. As an Associate Lawyer, his expertise spans legal drafting, contract review, licensing, compliance, and legal advisory work. Since 2025, Darma has also taken on the role of Compliance & Licensing Lead at the Firm, bringing considerable experience and expertise to the leadership and oversight of compliance and licensing projects for clients across a broad range of sectors. In this role, he coordinates and analyses government and regulatory affairs impacting clients' operations, and guides clients in meeting compliance requirements and securing the necessary licences in accordance with prevailing laws and regulations
